JV Practice for Monday Sept 6 has been Cancelled.
If there are any JV Players that would like to come on Saturday and work out with the Varsity Team at Practice, We welcome anyone who would like to attend. 8:30-11am.
Varsity Practices will still Continue as Scheduled on Saturday and Monday.
We will post the results of the JV and Varsity Matches on the Game Tab of the website. We will plan to update the Varsity Stats Weekly.
Varsity Tournment in Orlando is a Two Day tournament. We will play in the Elite Division. The pools will be posted later tonight. The earliest we will start is 5pm depending on our Ranking. The Latest we would start is 6pm. We will play two games on Friday night and 3 games on Saturday. All Saturday Games will start at Either 11am or 12 noon. There has been a request to list the times for the games and when the girls will need to be at the school for home games and away games. Listed below is the general rule to follow for game days. The Practice Schedule tab and the Game Schedule tab on the website can help as well. Any Changes to the general rule will have a corrected times on the Practice tab of the website. All JV Games will Start @6pm, Varsity Start @ 7:30pm.
All Players will remain until the Varsity Game has ended.
For Away Games, all Players need to be in the locker room and ready by 4:15 pm. The Bus Leaves at 4:30. The Bus will not wait for a Player that is Late.
For Home Games, JV players need to be at the gym by 4:30. Varsity Players will need to be at the gym by 5pm.
Players Staying after school to await Practice or Games are welcome to go to Coach Camp's Room to do their homework. Once a coach is present at the gym, Players can move to the gym to get ready for the games/practice.

The Pregame Meal Schedule is now available on the "Pregame Meal Sched." Tab on the Website. The Last name of Each Player is listed for that date. If you wish to make changes to a date or need to switch with another Parent please contact that parent or Mary Jane so that the website can be updated. Thank you.
We plan to have a Parent Meeting on Wednesday, Sept 1 at 6pm in the School Cafeteria. The Meeting should last for No more than 30 minutes. Please Review the Player/Parent Handbook Tab on the website. We will plan to have Coach Bullock-LRHS Athletic Director--address everyone as well.

Practice times for the remaining portion of Season will be posted Shortly. Players are required to participate in all practices. If a Player has a conflict or an emergency with any practice or game date, please consult the Head Coaches about the issue.

Candi will send you (Parents) the Proofs of your players Pictures via email for your Approval before she prints the shots.

Polk County Schools Fall Sports Information
The FHSAA and the Polk County School Board has asked that the following information be made available to all student athletes and parents
Next fall, the FHSAA has set Monday, August 9 as the first day of practice for all fall sports (except cross country which starts on August 16). This is a full 2 weeks before the first day of school in Polk County and throughout the state of Florida due to the mandated start date by the legislature. Our student athletes are encouraged to begin the tryouts and practices on this date to insure them ample opportunity to become a member of any of these fall teams. There is no guarantee that a student can wait until August 23 to go out for a fall sport and be selected for the team since the teams would have been practicing for two weeks and the first contest is just a week away. Vacations (if possible) should be planned so that students will be able to participate in tryouts and practices on August 9. Individual situations should be addressed with the principal, athletic director and the coaches well in advance of this August 9 date.
